The project
Edugram | AI-Powered E-Learning & Creator Monetization Platform
Edugram is a comprehensive e-learning and creator monetization platform designed to help educators, professionals, and content creators publish educational content, build communities, and generate revenue from their expertise. The platform brings together online courses, subscriptions, educational content, personalized learning, and creator management tools into a unified digital ecosystem.
As a Full-Stack Developer, I contributed to the development of Edugram's web platform, working across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, database architecture, content management, and creator-facing functionality using Next.js, React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
The Challenge
Building a modern educational platform involves significantly more complexity than developing a traditional content website.
Edugram needed to support two distinct audiences: educators who create, organize, and monetize content, and students who discover educational resources, enroll in courses, and track their learning journeys.
The platform required a flexible architecture capable of handling structured course content, user authentication, creator dashboards, content discovery, subscription-based features, referral programs, and administrative operations.
Another major consideration was scalability. As creators publish more courses and students interact with larger content catalogs, the application needs to deliver content efficiently while maintaining a responsive and consistent user experience.
Full-Stack Application Development
I worked on developing and maintaining the web application using Next.js and React, implementing reusable UI components, dynamic pages, and API integrations.
The application connects frontend interfaces with backend services responsible for managing users, courses, content, and platform-specific business logic.
My responsibilities included implementing new features, improving existing workflows, troubleshooting production issues, optimizing data retrieval, and maintaining consistency across different areas of the platform.
Course Management & Content Architecture
One of the core areas of the platform is its course management system.
Edugram supports structured educational content that creators can organize into courses and learning materials. I worked with the course catalog and content-related functionality, helping create a flexible foundation for displaying and managing educational resources.
The system uses MongoDB and Mongoose to manage application data and relationships between users, courses, and associated content.
Dynamic course pages and catalog interfaces were developed to present educational content clearly while supporting efficient retrieval and rendering.
Creator Dashboards & Analytics
Edugram provides creators with tools to manage their educational businesses from a centralized interface.
I worked on dashboard functionality that presents relevant platform data and helps creators understand their content and account activity.
This involved connecting frontend dashboard components with backend APIs, organizing information into usable interfaces, and implementing data handling for creator-related workflows.
The goal was to simplify complex administrative tasks and make important information accessible without requiring creators to navigate multiple disconnected systems.
Referral & Growth Features
Edugram includes a referral system designed to encourage platform growth and reward users for bringing new participants into the ecosystem.
I contributed to referral-related dashboard functionality, implementing interfaces and data integrations that allow referral activity to be presented and managed.
This required coordinating frontend components with backend logic and database records to support accurate referral information.
Performance Optimization & Server-Side Rendering
Performance was an important consideration throughout development, particularly for publicly accessible course pages and content-heavy interfaces.
I worked with Next.js server-side rendering and caching strategies to improve content delivery and reduce unnecessary backend requests.
This included implementing HTTP caching approaches for suitable public content, optimizing API interactions, and improving how application data is fetched and rendered.
These improvements were aimed at maintaining a fast browsing experience while reducing redundant server and database operations.
Responsive User Experience
The platform was designed to provide a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
I developed responsive interfaces using React and modern styling approaches, focusing on reusable components, accessible navigation, clear content organization, and predictable user interactions.
Special consideration was given to content-heavy pages, creator dashboards, and interactive application sections where usability directly affects how efficiently users can complete tasks.
The Result
Edugram brings educational content creation, course discovery, creator management, and monetization into a single platform designed for a global audience.
My contributions helped develop and improve the technical foundation supporting course catalogs, creator dashboards, authentication, referral functionality, and content delivery.
The project strengthened my experience working on a complex, evolving SaaS-style application where frontend engineering, backend architecture, database design, performance optimization, and third-party integrations need to work together reliably.
Edugram demonstrates my ability to contribute to production-grade full-stack applications, implement complex business requirements, optimize data-driven experiences, and develop maintainable features within a growing product ecosystem.
